The problem with ADHD and keeping a public blog is the complete impossibility of keeping to one theme.
A recent example is my failure to keep Hellish Allergies updated consistently enough to, in my mind, justify the (time and monetary) cost of hosting it separately. Despite knowing that it would be easier for visitors looking for resources to navigate, I’m too often distracted by other interests.
Like right now, I’m researching how to upgrade/replace the hard drive on my Acer Aspire. I’ve never done hardware work on a laptop, but I want to avoid buying a new one if I can for monetary and eco-friendly reasons.
Or, as I said on Twitter the other day:
(Yes, the intersection of rural poverty and eco-friendly or zero-waste living is a discussion that deserves its own space. No worries, we’ll get there.)
But did you see what happened there? This entry started by discussing the difficulty in keeping to a theme, and now we’re talking about green living and classism.
For the record, this is my brain while medicated and moderately well-rested. Change either of those things, and things get so much worse.
